Rustic Inspiration Shoot at Saddlerock Ranch

{Upscale Rustic Elegance}

When we were asked to design the flowers for this wedding styled shoot at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu (one of our favorite venues), we couldn’t have been more excited. Working with an amazing collaboration of vendors in the scenic vineyard landscape of Saddlerock Ranch made for one purely gorgeous affair. SO GORGEOUS, in fact, that it was featured in the ultimate wedding blog, Style Me Pretty. To see the amazing blog write-up in all of its detail, click here!  The styled shoot of rustic meets elegance was beautifully designed by ENCORE | Leslie Kaplan Event Design, and was captured with the stunning photography of Valerie Tabor Smith.

The inspiration behind this shoot was that of a European countryside wedding, so needless to say designing the flowers was just too much fun. For the rustic | romantic | elegant feel of this shoot, the florals we used included café oaulait dahlias, Juliet garden roses, white veronica, silver dusty miller, and faith roses. In the larger designs we also included antique hygrangeas & white delphinium to embellish the style and capture the romance of it all.

Thank you, again, to the dream team of wonderful vendors for allowing us the honor of beautifying this shoot with our Unique Floral Designs. xo

A Wondrous Wedding at the Santa Barbara Zoo

{Rustic Garden Wedding at Santa Barbara Zoo}

When we were approached by Ally and Jim to design the floral arrangements for their wedding at the Santa Barbara Zoo, we couldn’t have been more thrilled.  It was such a joy to work with this charming couple, and it was so much fun to infuse a rustic garden style into an already lush and wondrous property.

The floral designs were made up of a fun and eclectic mix of flowers, from peonies and garden roses, to kale greens, hydrangeas and dahlias.

Overlooking the ocean, the ceremony took place beneath a bamboo arbor that was decorated beautifully with flowers and draping white fabric. The aisle was lined sweetly with flower arrangements in mason jars, eloquently hung with twine on Sheppard’s hooks.

The centerpieces varied in sizes as well as containers.  Some were high-low arrangements in vintage bottles, while others were in wooden boxes or aqua vintage jars. The bouquets were wrapped with twine, which created a subtle yet lovely rustic feel.

With additional accents of burlap, hanging paper lanterns, and various vintage décor, this rustic garden wedding became an unforgettable and beautiful new breed at the Santa Barbara Zoo.

Triunfo Creek Vineyards Wedding

{Farm House Florals, Rustic Charm}

Triunfo Creek Vineyards is a hidden treasure set in the beauty of the Santa Monica mountains and Malibu Valleys. The property is a private residence and ranch, and we had the opportunity to attend their Open House. The Farm House and surrounding area is breathtaking, and we are delighted to share with you the rustic charm experience. Thank you to Becca Rillo Photography for bringing the beauty and character of this location to life. With food & beverages provided by Command Performance Catering, and rentals from Party Pleasers this wedding was overall perfection.

Winter Wedding Flowers at Camarillo Ranch House

{Camarillo Ranch House Winter Wedding}

An outdoor ceremony made possible by the December weather in Southern California. Laurie and Heather of Unique Floral Designs used ivory & blush flowers with accents of holiday greens and pinecones. The only exception to the flower color was the bride’s bouquet of deep burgundy flowers with accent of blush. The Gazebo was decorated with large rustic planters that were reused at the Sweetheart table during the reception inside the barn. The centerpieces used the same ivory and blush blooms in varying containers, birch vase, vintage bottles and mason jars. The flower decor was accented with crystal candelabras, hurricanes and pinecones. The effect was a rustic, romantic style that perfectly suited Camarillo Ranch House and the happy bride & groom.
